Our Water Supply of the Future – Seewalchen
The Seewalchen Water Cooperative is opening its doors to offer exclusive insights into one of the region’s best water supply facilities. On a guided tour—either on foot or by bike—participants will learn about the journey of the region’s drinking water.
The route takes visitors to several stops, either accompanied by the water master or on their own using a map:
Brunnkandl: The oldest spring intake and the town’s first water supply.
Elevated Tank 2: Ensures the drinking water supply from the town center all the way down to the promenade.
Roitham Well: The most important facility in the network, where an impressive view into the depths reveals how the drinking water remains a constant 10 °C even in the height of summer.
