Water Days — Exploring the Moor with All Your Senses — A Magical Journey into Nature to the Pfarrer Pond

On this magical hike around the Pfarrer-Teich, the children from the Steinbach Nature Park Elementary School, together with forest educator Martina Huemer, discover the wondrous aquatic and animal life of the marsh.
As part of the REGATTA Water Days, the students experience the marsh as an important water reservoir with all their senses, accompanied by stories and fairy tales from the Attersee region . The event takes place within the school.

Exploring the Moor with All Your Senses—A Fairytale Journey into Nature to the Pfarrer Pond

As part of the REGATTA Water Days, students from the Steinbach am Attersee Nature Park Elementary School embark on an exciting and magical hike around Pfarrer Pond.

Together with forest educator Martina Huemer, the children explore the moor pond and learn about the moor as an important water reservoir and a fascinating biological archive. On this journey of discovery, they explore the unique flora and fauna of the bog habitat and experience Steinbach’s wondrous aquatic world with all their senses. Local stories and fairy tales from the Attersee region round out this eventful project day.
