Operetta Gala to Ring in the New Year 2026
Operetta Gala to Ring in the New Year 2026
“The Thrill of the Waltz and a Touch of Champagne”
A festive operetta gala awaits you, featuring the most beautiful melodies from the golden and silver ages of operetta as the year comes to a close. Evergreens by Johann Strauss, Franz Lehár, Emmerich Kálmán, Carl Zeller, and many others will be performed by international soloists from the operetta and musical theater scene. They will be accompanied by the renowned Viennese salon orchestra “Drei/DreiViertel,” which brings the unmistakable sound of Vienna to the stage of the Altes Theater.
Ivaylo Guberov will guide you through New Year’s Eve with charm, humor, and a touch of Viennese wit. Look forward to waltzes and csárdás, grand emotions, and a lively, musical start to the new year. Happy New Year!
Tickets priced at 32, 27, or 22 euros are available at Stadtservice, all Ö-Ticket outlets, and Trafikplus tobacco shops throughout Austria (plus fees), at www.oeticket.com, and at the box office.
