Water Days—In the Footsteps of Saint Bründl

The event “In the Footsteps of Saint Bründl” invites you to take a walk exploring the significance of water and the history of a local place of power.

• Program: After the welcome, there will be an approximately 20-minute walk to the Holy Bründl, featuring information about water, legends, and the history of the area. At the destination, there will be a meditation (“The Path of the Water Drop—The Path of Humanity”) as well as a water tasting and regional snacks in front of the pilgrimage church.

• Motto: “From the Holy Spring to the Future of Our Water—Taking Responsibility Together.”

The event “In the Footsteps of Saint Bründl” combines nature experiences, local history, and raising awareness about water.

Schedule and Program Highlights

• Walk & Interesting Facts: After a welcome and a brief introduction to the project, a roughly 20-minute walk leads to St. Bründl. During the walk, participants learn interesting facts about the element of water.

• History & Meditation: Once there, the focus is on the legend and history of this place of power, as well as its significance in the past and present. A group meditation on the theme “The Path of the Water Drop—The Path of Humanity” encourages reflection.

• Water Tasting & Culinary Conclusion: Participants taste different types of water (tap water, spring water, and mineral water). The event concludes in front of the pilgrimage church with drinks, healthy vegetable snacks, fruit, and regional bread and pastries (provided by the Healthy Community initiative).

• Core Idea: Under the motto “From the Holy Spring to the Future of Our Water—Taking Responsibility Together,” the program conveys the central message: Without water, there is no life.
