380 Years of the Reisinger Blacksmith Shop

Since 1646, our forge has been synonymous with traditional craftsmanship. To mark our 380th anniversary, we cordially invite you to join us in Pregarten on Saturday, September 26, 2026, to celebrate and take a look behind the scenes.

Following a ceremony at 10:30 a.m., there will be ongoing guided tours of the facility, and fellow blacksmiths from all over Austria will be working at the forge all day long—you’re welcome to watch them at work.

The Pregarten Fire Department will provide refreshments, and the Pregarten Music Association will provide musical entertainment as well as coffee and cake.
