Festival for Murderously Good Crime Fiction
Together with neighboring municipalities, local libraries, and other partners, the AKKU Cultural Center is organizing “Krimivember.”The festival for murderously good crime fiction will take place from early September through mid-December 2026 in Steyr and the surrounding area.
A selection of Austria’s best crime writers will read from their new books. Several promising newcomers to the crime genre will also be taking part.

Admission to a “Krimivember” reading costs 13 euros. Each additional “Krimivember” evening costs one euro less.
If someone actually attends all twelve “Krimivember” events, he or she will pay only 2 euros for the last one.
