Opening of the Gustl & Perla Water Adventure Trail

The Gustl & Perla Water Adventure Trail in Weyregg on Lake Attersee will be opened as part of the REGATTA Water Days. The trail combines nature, physical activity, and a fun way to learn about water, forests, and the environment. Numerous interactive stations make the approximately two-hour hike particularly interesting for children, families, and adults.

The opening will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the PGZ Weyregg Parish and Community Center. Registration is not required. After the hike, there will be an opportunity to stop for refreshments and enjoy lunch together.

On Sunday, October 4, 2026, the new Gustl & Perla Water Adventure Trail will open in Weyregg on Lake Attersee.

Following the opening ceremony, there will be a group hike lasting about two hours. During the hike, visitors can explore the new Water Adventure Trail and its various stations. The focus is on water, nature, the environment, and physical activity. There are playful and informative elements designed especially for children and families. There will also be plenty of activities at the individual stations on opening day!

A highlight is the new observation deck with a view of Lake Attersee. After the hike, there will be an opportunity to have lunch together at Hotel Bramosen.
For the return trip, which you’ll need to organize on your own, the Postbus and Attersee Schifffahrt are available from the Alexenau boat dock.
