Thomas Mraz is embarking on an extensive tour of Austria with his first solo show, "Mraz F1rst!"

MRAZ F1RST! “Now it’s all about the people closest to me: Me! Me! Me!” That’s the example we’re shown—in politics, on social media, and in the kindergarten WhatsApp group. We live in a society full of winners, where everyone wants to be first—no, must be first!

These forces are at work on Thomas Mraz as well, and so his motto is now: MRAZ FIRST! It’s high time that, in his very first solo show, he confronts his big questions: Is he aiming to become president of the allotment garden association? Will he open his own hot dog stand, exactly as he remembers it from back in the day? Is he a well-traveled cosmopolitan or a working-class guy from Favoriten—or even both?
And most importantly: Is he the egoist—or is it everyone else?
