Klangwolken Week

This year, Linz’s Klangwolke 26 is expanding into a Klangwolke Week, featuring many free events spread throughout the city:

From Monday, September 7, through Friday, September 11, the theme of endings and new beginnings will permeate the entire city. Klangwolke Week features:

• The exhibition “Letzte Dinge” in the Alte Kassenhalle of the Brucknerhaus, where visitors can bring their own personal mementos.
• The reading series “Adalbert Stifter and Finitude”: Staff members of the StifterHaus will recite passages from Stifter’s *A Walk Through the Catacombs* daily at 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on the balcony of the StifterHaus.
• Daily film screenings of *Smoke and Mirrors* and *Entangled Atlas* at the Sparkasse OÖ’s “s Spektrum” venue, located at Haus an der Promenade 11–13, from 2:00–2:45 p.m.
• A conversation with Milo Rau, artistic director of the Vienna Festival, and journalist Renata Schmidtkunz on September 7 at 8:00 p.m. at the Brucknerhaus.
• SoundPark, presented by the Brucknerhaus Linz and Ars Electronica, on September 9 from 6:00–7:00 p.m.: On the way from the Lentos to the Brucknerhaus, the Danube region becomes a stage of sound, where electronic music connects the river, the city, and the surrounding space.
• The participatory art event “Flood the Zone with Courage” on Linz’s Hauptplatz, inviting visitors to participate and discuss from September 9 through 13.

Saturday, September 12, starting at 8:30 p.m.: The major Linz Klangwolke event, ATTheENDLinz, serves as the highlight and finale.
