Flooded

Exhibition featuring works by Ilona Ágnes Tömó and Josef Trattner.

The exhibition FLOODED brings together two artistic approaches that share the MAERZ exhibition spaces as their common point of reference.

The installations by Tömő and Trattner are, in the literal sense, space-encompassing: characteristics of the space—such as volume, proportion, path, light, and so on—are incorporated and placed in dynamic relationships with the works on display. The resulting effects range from harmonious unity to moments of confrontation. The works partially interpenetrate one another, transforming the entire MAERZ into a space of fluid, surging artistic activity.

FLOODED offers visitors an aesthetic, highly dynamic, and comprehensive spatial experience.
