When elegant wooden yachts gather once again on Lake Attersee from August 4 to 9, one thing is clear: Attersee Week is back—a celebration for lovers of traditional sailing and historic boatbuilding.
The Union-Yacht-Club Attersee invites you to this time-honored regatta week, where floating historical artifacts of sailing take center stage. Only boats built before 1975 or constructed entirely of solid wood according to traditional plans are eligible to participate. The Attersee Week has been held almost without interruption since 1887, making it an impressive testament to a living sailing tradition. 139 years after its first edition, the Attersee Week is still going strong!
