Fatima El Kosht is originally from Argentina and, after completing her studies in composition, made Austria her home. Her music is shaped by impressions from around the world, which she skillfully expresses in her diverse and colorful repertoire. The result is a successful fusion of catchy melodies with vocals and rhythms infused with a South American flair.

“Latin & Travel Music” embodies her musical approach: representing a piece of her homeland, transcending borders, lingering where she pleases, yet always staying in motion to discover new things. In her songs, Fatima sings and reflects in Spanish, Portuguese, and Creole on life, love, and a turbulent history in all its light and shadow. Guitar and percussion form the harmonic and rhythmic tapestry into which the singer weaves herself with ease and fluidity.
