Hike & Dive – ATTERSEE PERSPECTIVE

Attersee Perspective is a full-day hike-and-dive experience in Weyregg on Lake Attersee. A guided hike along selected routes around Wachtberg, Kienesberg, or Gahberg-Miglberg is combined with a guided dive in the clear waters of Lake Attersee.

The tour runs from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. and is available for individuals or small groups of 2 to 4 people. The tour is conducted in German or English. Reservations can be made daily, at least 2 days in advance.

The price is €195.00 per person. Underwater photography can be added as an optional extra for €50.00. Upon request, a stop for refreshments along the route, including a table reservation, can be arranged.

The day begins with a meeting point in Weyregg on Lake Attersee—either at the dive center or at the respective hiking parking lot, depending on the chosen route. After a welcome and a brief overview, we’ll set out on a guided hike featuring scenic viewpoints, breaks, and opportunities to experience nature. Afterward, there’s time for a snack on your own or a stop at a mountain hut or restaurant.

In the second part, a guided dive in Lake Attersee takes place in cooperation with the Under Pressure Dive Center. Before entering the water, there will be an introductory session and a safety briefing. For those without diving experience, a trial dive is available. Certified divers will participate in a guided dive tailored to their skill level and current conditions.

The event concludes with a drink and a light snack. You’re free to spend the rest of the afternoon by the lake as you wish.

Tuesday: Wachtberg Route
A varied route around the Wachtberg with views of Weyregg and Lake Attersee. Along the way, you’ll pass an alpaca enclosure, among other sights. You can stop for a bite to eat at the Avocado Restaurant.

Wednesday: Kienesberg Loop with Födinger Alm
Circular hike through shady forests and along streams, with a stop for refreshments at the Födinger Alm and views toward the Höllengebirge.

Direct ascent to the Födinger Alm: 4.5 km | 300 hm | approx. 1 hour 15 minutes one way
Starting point: Födinger Alm parking lot

Friday: Gahberg and Miglberg Loop via the Schöberingerhof
A scenic route with views of Lake Attersee and the Höllengebirge. The observatory is located along the route. Refreshments are available at the Schöberingerhof.
