1. Workshop on traditional African dance with Awal Iddris
In this workshop, you’ll dive into the exhilarating world of Kuku—a lively celebratory dance from West Africa that radiates pure joy! We’ll start with a dynamic warm-up that awakens your body and senses and perfectly prepares you for the movements. Then, together—step by step and full of energy—we’ll discover the typical arm and leg sequences of the Kuku dance. You’ll feel the rhythm, let the music carry you away, and find your own flow.

Impressions, landscapes, encounters, food, challenges, and highlights from an 11-week bike tour from Lilongwe (Malawi) to Kigali (Rwanda)
4 countries: Malawi, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, from January to April 2026
3,000 kilometers cycled
48 places to stay
Kilometers traveled by boat/ship: about 280
Kilometers traveled by bus and taxi: about 30
After several work-related stays in Africa and a few independent trips across the continent, I finally embarked on my first cycling trip. This way of traveling has opened up a whole new perspective for me and allowed me to experience the country, its people, and its culture in a particularly intense way.
