2-Day Training Course on Sure-Footedness and Walking Technique

Do you feel unsure, dizzy, or stuck on challenging hiking trails? Then this course is just right for you! Expand your comfort zone step by step to master challenging mountain trails! You’ll learn how to safely navigate various trail conditions, exposed sections, and a fear of heights. A key part of the program is the theoretical and practical exploration of vertigo and fear of heights. Perhaps the ride up the Feuerkogelbahn is already a small first challenge?
The lovingly run Rieder Hütte, serving as our base, and its surroundings offer the ideal setting for this. Different types of terrain and surfaces allow for intensive footwork training and hiking technique exercises—with and without hiking poles. While we’ll take the Feuerkogelbahn to shorten the ascent to the Rieder Hütte on the first day, on the second day we’ll put what we’ve learned into practice and hike back to the cable car’s valley station.
Course highlights:

• Targeted training in a small group (max. 5 people).
• Ascent of the highest peak in the Höllengebirge—Großer Höllkogel (1,862 m).
• Warm hospitality and delicious meals at the cozy Rieder Hütte.

Requirements: Fitness level sufficient for 5–6 hours of hiking (ascending and descending)
Group size: minimum 3, maximum 5 participants
