135 Years of Brandl

To mark our 135th anniversary, Upper Austria’s top restaurateurs are invited to celebrate with us and raise a toast to culinary delights.

A celebration for all food lovers and gourmets: The Brandl Bakery is opening the doors to its bakery in downtown Linz. Take this opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the art of baking and to shape and bake the legendary Brandl roll yourself.

Upper Austria’s top chefs will be on hand to cook up a feast for you. The food and drinks on offer can be purchased directly from the chefs.

A Passion for the Art of Baking—for 135 Years: We celebrate authentic craftsmanship and recipes that have remained virtually unchanged for four generations. Our focus is not on maximum production capacity, but on the quality of regional raw materials, carefully selected ingredients, and meticulous handcrafted preparation.
Andrea Bina, director of the NORDICO City Museum in Linz, will speak about the “Original” and its significance for Linz’s city history.

Food and drinks will be sold directly at the booths by the participating businesses.
