The knights are returning to the Reichenau castle ruins!

The time has finally come again: the MEDIEVAL AND KNIGHTS’ FESTIVAL at and around the REICHENAU CASTLE RUINS in the Mühlkreis region is taking place once more!

For the sixth time, bagpipes will ring out and drums will make the air shake in and around the Reichenau Castle Ruins in the Mühlkreis
Swords clash, shields crash, and the knights in their shining armor groan as they battle for the favor of the noble ladies and gentlemen.

Jesters, horses, jugglers, acrobats, and other vagabonds showcase their skills, immersing visitors in a bygone era.

In their tents at the medieval market, over 30 merchants and artisans from near and far loudly tout their wares, encouraging visitors to try things out and join in the fun, while the medicus tell thrilling stories in the moat.
Meat sizzles on the grill, pans hiss, and young and old alike enjoy their drinks from beautiful hand-thrown clay mugs.

On Saturday evening, a spectacular fire show also awaits you.
