Traditional Maypole Sawing

A special highlight awaits all visitors on August 14, 2026

Starting at 5:00 p.m., the traditional Maypole-cutting ceremony will take place—featuring the Pyhrnpass Buam as the opening act and the Ötscherland Buam as the main act. For the first time this year, there will also be a children’s tractor race with an awards ceremony, which is sure to delight our youngest guests.

• Starting at 6:00 p.m.: Grilled chicken with fries
• Starting at 6:30 p.m.: Pyhrnpass-Buam
• Starting at 7:30 p.m.: Beer tapping
• 8:30 p.m. Maypole cutting
• Starting at 8:45 p.m.: the Ötscherland Buam
