Kids-Run 2026

The Upper Austrian Family Association (OÖ Familienbund) is once again inviting children and families to take part in the Familienbund Kids Run powered by UNIQA. For the seventh time, the event will focus on physical activity, sporting ambition, and shared experiences.

On 19 September 2026, the Transdanubia Athletic. Sport. Centre. in Linz will be transformed into a major running arena for children. Participants can showcase their talent and endurance over various distances tailored to different age groups. All runners will receive a starter bag with a small surprise as well as a finisher’s medal. The fastest runners in each age category will be awarded trophies. In addition, participants will have the chance to win great prizes in the race number raffle.

Beyond the sporting competition, a varied supporting programme will provide plenty of entertainment. Children can enjoy an air track mat provided by Jump Dome, a bouncy castle, face painting, and airbrush tattoos. Families can also join in the fun: the family relay race offers an opportunity for young and old alike to compete together and demonstrate true team spirit.

Members of the OÖ Familienbund and holders of the 4YouCard benefit from a reduced entry fee.
