Mela Inga is a newcomer when it comes to releasing her own songs, but she has long since found her place on stage. Her grandfather loved jazz, her mother loved pop, and now she loves both.

Now she writes about what moves her in life, somewhere between alternative pop, neo-soul, and a jazzy singer-songwriter sound. Mela Inga brings depth, maturity, honesty, and life experience to her music, all of which are reflected in her songs.

Zelda Weber—There she is again, that young, determined voice, one that—behind a superficial shyness—is absolutely driven by a sense of purpose. The voice of Zelda. Her instrument—though, admittedly, not her only one.

And now, her second album. “Rose Thorne” is the title—less flowery than prickly. And yet intensely fragrant, seductive, in full bloom. This bouquet of songs was produced by Paul Gallister, whom—after his success with Wanda—one wouldn’t necessarily have expected to find in the studio alongside an unconventional artist like Zelda Weber.
