The church is located in the district of St. Isidor in the municipality of Leonding. The Roman Catholic branch church belongs to the parish church of Leonding-Hart and was built between 1951 and 1952 according to the plans of architect Hans Arndt and extended between 1983 and 1984. It is located in the St. Isidor Caritas children's village complex. It is a modern church building using elements of the "Heimatschutzstil". One of the special features is the fact that the church is located on the first floor and is accessed via a staircase under the arcades. The spatial impression of the interior of the church is determined by the pointed barrel vault reaching down to the floor, the shape of which is determined by the roof truss but is not visible from the outside.
