Exhibition Erwin Hochedlinger and Willi Tanzer

01.08.2026 / 14:00- 17:00 (Further dates)
Lembach im Mühlkreis, Kunsthaus Lembach
Ausstellung, Kunstausstellung

In the course of planning for the commemorative year "400 Years of the Peasants' War in Upper Austria", the idea was born to convert the building at Falkensteinstrasse 10 into an "art house" to make use of the vacant space.

For the artist Erwin Hochedlinger (born 1955 in Liebenau/Freistadt, lives in St. Peter am Wimberg), facial expressions and gestures are key elements for communicating alongside language. The hands underpin the statements and lend emphasis to what is said. In his acrylic paintings, he paints gestures with different meanings.

For Wilhelm Tanzer (born 1961 in Lower Austria, lives in St. Peter am Wimberg), contemplating the diversity of nature creates inner images. These inner images are transformed by artistic means into works that enter into a dialog with the viewer.

Opening hours: from July 31st, Sat and Sun, 2 - 5 pm and by appointment, exhibition duration 2 weeks
