Opening on the Wurzeralm Bike Trail

Freshly shaped, full of flow and ready for the first ride of the season

The big trail opening not only offers perfect trail conditions, but also free bike guiding, special offers for Father's Day and lots of riding fun in the middle of the mountain experience of the Alpenland region.

The first ride of the summer

After intensive work, the bike trail on the Wurzeralm is in top form: newly shaped, perfectly groomed and ready for fast lines, clean curves and plenty of flow. Just the right moment to get your bike out of the cellar and start the season where mountain adventure and adrenaline go together perfectly. The opening on June 14, 2026 not only brings fresh trail fun, but also a real community feeling to the mountain.

From the trail to the valley with the pros

A special highlight: the free bike guides from Pyhrn Priel Mountainbike. The meeting point is at the top station of the funicular - from there you head straight onto the trail with experienced guides. There are five time slots to choose from:

10:00 a.m. | 11:00 a.m. | 1:00 p.m. | 2:00 p.m. | 3:00 p.m.

The guides give tips on technique, safety and riding fun - followed by a joint descent down to the valley. Perfect for anyone who wants to get to know the trail better or get more flow for the season. We recommend pre-registration by email to info@pyhrnpriel-mountainbike.at including your desired time slot. Remaining places will be allocated on site.

Father's Day with extra flow

In keeping with Father's Day, there are attractive special offers on the opening weekend: Fathers receive the Alm and Bike day ticket including a voucher for the mountain restaurant at a special price of 14 euros. The Upper Austrian Family Card is valid as proof.

Young bikers also benefit: anyone born in or before 2000 can get the bike day ticket for just 10 euros with the 4youCard.

Ready to ride?

A valid lift pass is required to take part in the guiding. Please bring your own equipment - ideally a fully, helmet, gloves and protectors. And then all you have to do is immerse yourself in the flow, curve by curve towards the valley and start the summer where Upper Austria's moving nature promises lots of riding fun.
