60 years of thirst for knowledge - also on June 12, 2026 at the JKU Summer Ball!

There's a special reason to celebrate at the Johannes Kepler University Linz Summer Ball this year: our university is turning 60 this year!

What does that mean for ball tigers? Once again, the campus will become a place of togetherness, a ballroom and a clubbing stage under the motto "Dance the Kepler". A place where not only science and studies flourish, but also joie de vivre and social interaction.

Of course, there will be music and entertainment: As usual, the JKU University Orchestra will open the ball, and you can also learn more about the musical tastes of JKU professors: The popular format "Your Prof is your DJ" is of course also back at the start. In between dancing and partying, there's plenty of room to linger at our cocktail bar and food stands.

The JKU is turning 60 - but not a bit old, quiet or boring. Dance the Kepler with us!
