Cabaret with music and feeling
Between old hits and cheeky punchlines, Sabine Falk alias Hanni Ahorn poses the really important questions: Why does romance often end up at the dishwashing? Why doesn’t the heart abide by reason? And why does love always have a surprise in store?
Hanni Ahorn knows this game all too well – and she shows it in her own charmingly naive and wonderfully chaotic way. With heart, humor, and a healthy dose of self-irony, she embarks on a musical quest through the highs and lows of love. Amidst great emotions and minor everyday disasters, there is laughter, singing, and endless wonder over what drives us, makes us stumble, and yet never lets us go.
“Love, hits, and other disasters” is a nostalgic journey through the music of the 1950s to the 1980s, where humor and wisdom go hand in hand. Hanni Ahorn sings, laughs, and philosophizes about the most human thing of all: love. Sometimes tender, sometimes wild, but always real and full of life energy that is palpable.
