Schrammel music is a musical genre typical of Vienna at the end of the 19th century. It is considered a Viennese cultural asset and was named after the Waldviertel musicians Johann and Josef Schrammel.
In our last educational semester, we invite the Wegerer Schrammeln once again to play us out with their typical Viennese songs. Spend a cozy evening with friends, with fine wine, spread bread and Schrammel music in the original instrumentation for two violins, harmonica, contraguitar, flute (picksüßes Hölzl) and vocals.
With songs such as "Erst wann`s aus wird sein, ...!" or "Stellts meine Ross in Stall, ..." there may be some melancholy, but there will also be a sense of joyful togetherness.
Registration is necessary to ensure that there are enough seats, bread and wine! Weather permitting, the event will take place in the Dominikanerhof.
