Pidinger via ferrata: Alpine challenge on the Hochstaufen with the Mondsee Alpine Club

The Pidinger via ferrata is probably one of the most impressive and beautiful via ferratas in the Bavarian Alps: steep rocky passages, airy ridges and fantastic views of the surrounding mountain landscape!

Challenging passages await you during the ascent, putting your stamina and climbing skills to the test and rewarding you with unforgettable panoramic views. Once you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Bavarian Alpine landscape.

Requirements:
Very good stamina / physical condition, experience in climbing or via ferrata and alpine terrain required. Sure-footedness, no fear of heights. AV membership.

Requirements:
Duration: approx. 7 hours in total (for approach, via ferrata, descent)
Difficulty: Medium to difficult (D) | Ascent: approx. 1,250 hm (!)
Climbing equipment
Via ferrata set, climbing harness, climbing helmet, sturdy shoes with a good profile, gloves, weatherproof clothing, hiking poles if necessary, sufficient water and provisions, webbing sling with locking carabiner.

Equipment can be borrowed from the AV (every Wednesday, 4-7 pm).
