Sondaschule

We Stay Awake Tour 2. Punk/Rock.

Three years after their acclaimed album "Unbesiegbar," Sondaschule are back with a new record. After reaching No. 2 on the album charts, three consecutive sold-out tours through the biggest clubs in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and prominent spots at major festivals, one could say that the six musicians from the Ruhr region have achieved everything they ever dreamed of.

But their triumphant run was overshadowed by a tragic loss in 2021: Shortly before the release of “Unbesiegbar,” founding member and guitarist Daniel “Blubbi” Junker passed away completely unexpectedly. A turning point that shook the band, but also shaped it. With “Wir bleiben wach,” Sondaschule are back on their feet—reformed, stronger, and brimming with unbridled energy.

This album is more than just the next step in their success story. It’s a statement, a feeling, a promise straight from the heart. A musical tour de force that unites euphoria and pain in equal measure, cuts deep, and yet is brimming with positive energy. Produced by Vincent Sorg (Die Toten Hosen, Broilers, Donots), the album features twelve songs full of courage, full of life—and without a single second of doubt about ever giving up.
