Reach for the stars! Christmas workshop

On this cozy star-making day, we will get in the mood for the Advent and Christmas season. Various stations will be set up in several places in the Weaving Museum where you can create beautiful Christmas stars using different techniques, e.g. decorative Swedish stars made of willow, origami stars, three-dimensional Fröbel stars made of colorful paper strips, knotted macramé stars made of starched linen thread or glittering stars made of threaded beads.
At the beginning, all the techniques are demonstrated, then everyone can rotate between the different stations, delve into one technique or try out all the activities one after the other and possibly also contribute their own ideas. The aim is to calm down a little by working with your own hands, to work comfortably on small, manageable projects, to get to know new techniques, to exchange ideas and to go home with beautiful little gifts for your loved ones at the start of the Advent season.
