DJ Joel Isaac Black will create the right atmosphere at the Mühlviertler Ölmühle to round off the TEXTILE KULTUR HASLACH summer symposium and kick off the Haslacher:innen get-together.
The musician, who comes from the USA and lives in Berlin, will arrive with his vinyl records and present pleasant ambient-jazz-blues-mellow moods on a two to three-hour listening journey - nothing too energetic, rather a general "vibe" in which guests can meet, chat and have a relaxed time.
Building on over two decades of passionate work at the intersection of global music scenes - as a DJ, live artist, curator, producer, journalist and record store manager - Joel Isaac Black has established himself as a unique music educator. Born in Texas as the son of a blues musician, raised with harmonica and swamp guitar and later re-baptized in the discotheques of Berlin, he still travels the world in search of uplifting musical moments.
The relaxing music will round off the course weeks and at the same time provide a nice welcome for the guests who have already arrived for the Haslacher:innen meeting the following day.
