Großer Löffler with the Mondsee Alpine Club
Impressive high tour in the Zillertal
A beautiful summit in the Zillertal Alps. Arrival and ascent to the Greizer Hütte on Fri, 19.6. incl. exploration of the area. Depending on the weather, we will attempt the Großer Löffler on Sat. or Sun. The descent will be via the Schwarzenstein and the Berlinerhütte, depending on the weather and motivation of the group. The tour destination may change depending on the weather and conditions.
Requirements: Glacier and rock passages require safe walking with crampons and easy climbing. Stamina for two full-day mountain tours on consecutive days. The ascent to the Großer Löffler and the Schwarzenstein is approx. 1,200 vertical meters each. AV membership

Equipment: normal mountain equipment (incl. helmet), glacier equipment (harness, crampons, ice axe), bivouac sack, sun protection and goggles. Equipment can be rented from the AV (office opening hours every Wednesday
