Brass music 2026 in the Botanical Garden

From traditional folk music to modern light music.

Every year in May, the Magistratsmusik opens the event series "Wort & Klang", which invites you to concerts in the open air in the Linz Botanical Garden.

The "Magistratsmusik der Stadt Linz" is a municipal music ensemble consisting of nine musicians* who, under the direction of Kapellmeister Christian Pirklbauer, provide an appealing musical framework for official city celebrations.
