Lecture on cybercrime - crime prevention

The Lenzing Criminal Assistance Service of the Upper Austrian Provincial Police Directorate invites you to an exciting and informative lecture on the subject of cybercrime. Visitors will gain an understandable insight into the world of digital crime. Current scams and risks in everyday life - from online shopping to social media - as well as typical methods of attack such as phishing, malware and identity theft will be discussed.

Participants will learn how cyber criminals operate, how to recognize fraud attempts and what simple measures can be taken to make their own everyday digital lives much safer. The aim of the event is to raise awareness and provide practical tips that can be implemented immediately.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 19:00 in the Lenzing/A. Cultural Center.
