Gastkonzert: JSO Bern

Guest concert by the JSO Bern in the music pavilion on the lakeside promenade in Strobl  

Young, highly motivated musicians between the ages of 14 and 25 play in the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Bern Conservatory (JSO). Some of them go on to pursue music as a career. Founded in 1987, the JSO can look back on a long and successful history. This includes tours to Finland, Bulgaria and Portugal as well as European youth orchestra festivals. The JSO has recorded CDs and attracted attention in the Bern region with extraordinary projects. These include collaborations with the Konsi Bigband, the Bern Chamber Orchestra and the rap collective Zonedout76. The soloists with whom the orchestra and its artistic director Droujelub Yanakiew have collaborated include renowned personalities such as baritone Robin Adams and soprano Marysol Schalit.
