The Pfenningberg trails in Steyregg are among the first officially approved and sustainably constructed mountain bike single trail facilities in the Linz area and the Mühlviertel. The HomeTrails were designed in close cooperation between the local community and the landowners and then painstakingly implemented by hand. They provide an attractive, varied and natural mountain bike experience on a legal basis.

The trails on the Pfenningberg include various single trail sections with different levels of difficulty - from the beginner-friendly Dachs Trail for children and beginners to technically challenging routes such as the Hornissen Trail and the Salamander Trail for experienced bikers.

As part of guided tours, participants discover the varied trails under professional guidance and receive valuable tips for safe and sustainable off-road riding. The tours are individually adapted to the riding level of the group or individuals and are suitable for both beginners and experienced trail enthusiasts.

In addition to the nature and trail experience, optional riding technique training and coaching units can also be booked. The focus here is on content such as effective braking technique, clean cornering and the correct center of gravity and weight transfer. These training sessions are ideal for preparing for more technically demanding passages and developing your own riding technique in a targeted manner.

All offers can be used with both classic mountain bikes and e-mountain bikes. They offer an ideal introduction to trail riding as well as new challenges for experienced bikers.

The Pfenningberg trails are ridden in compliance with the applicable fair play rules and the operator's ecological guidelines. A responsible approach is a top priority - respect for nature, trail managers, other users, land managers and landowners is a top priority.

Safety on the bike and correct behavior on the trails are the focus of the certified UpperTrails bike schools, which are authorized to conduct riding technique training and guided tours.

Trail building workshops are also offered. Here, interested parties receive practical know-how about sustainable trail building, trail maintenance and a respectful approach to nature.
