In her exhibition *Stellar Atmospheres*, Miriam Hamann follows in the footsteps of the female astrophysicists who mapped and classified the night sky around 1900.
Their work laid the foundation for our understanding of the universe—yet remained unrecognized for a long time. Based on hundreds of thousands of astronomical photographs, the so-called Harvard Computers developed systems that made the sky legible as an ordered field. In *Stellar Atmospheres*, Hamann translates these systematizations into artistic material and transforms them into a sculptural style—navigating the space between light and system, observation and abstraction, the individual object and comparative cosmic order.Landstraße 31, 4020 Linz
