Maschek - That Was 2026

Tickets: starting at €24.00 on oeticket.com

Peter Hörmanseder and Robert Stachel recap a year that came dangerously close to a tipping point: the Maschek Year 2026. Projected. Recapped. Improvised.

Maschek look back; as always, they mute the world’s bigwigs and talk about it. Featuring the best clips from “Willkommen Österreich”—some in their original form, some remixed, some extended.

“Original footage with an original twist. The fun of the parody lies not only in inventing the most absurd dialogues and speeches, but also in interpreting facial expressions and pauses for thought. You can’t just retell it—you have to experience it!” (Wiener Zeitung)

“A sophisticated and variedly interwoven scenario that combines media satire, social criticism, political satire, and pure nonsense into a grotesquely offbeat yet highly intelligent and witty spectacle.” (Kabarett.at)

“Silly jokes and great satire” (Kleine Zeitung)
