Since their foundation in 2021, the Divinerinnen have dedicated themselves to the touching melodies of Viennese music - and at the same time set themselves the goal of rethinking it.

The seven-piece ensemble surprises with unusual line-ups, discovers previously hidden archive treasures and places them in dialog with modern compositions. The result is an unmistakable sound that brings the tradition of Schrammel music into the 21st century - independent, powerful and surprisingly fresh.

The musicians span a wide range with playful ease: from the splendor of the philharmonic New Year's concert to the intimate Heurigen parlor, from the dance floor to the large concert stage, from pedagogical work to scientific research. This juxtaposition is what makes her music so special - sensual, diverse, full of energy and enjoyment.

Theresa Aranya Aigner (violin, vocals), Julia Brunner (violin), Erna Ströbitzer (contraguitar, vocals), Andrea Götsch (clarinets), Anna Aigner (violoncello), Stefanie Kropfreiter (viola) and Pia Madlener (Viennese button accordion) together form an ensemble that reflects the musically colorful Vienna of our time and makes female voices impressively audible.

Their debut album "Tanz' von innen" was longlisted by the German Record Critics in 2022. Since then, the Divinerinnen have performed internationally at festivals in South Korea, Italy and Spain and are equally at home in Vienna - in the Konzerthaus, at festivals or in convivial wine taverns. Their second album "divinerisch" (Gramola, 2024) was awarded the German Record Critics' Prize in 2025 and impressively confirms their artistic power.

An evening with the Divinerinnen is more than just a concert: it is an immersion in the multi-layered soundscape of Vienna - traditional yet surprisingly new, charming, cheeky and carried by an irresistible joy of playing.
