Christmas at the Forest House with Local Vendors
An Atmospheric Advent Experience in Freinberg
The Freinberg clubs and the cultural association cordially invite you once again this year to the traditional “Christmas Market at the Old Forest House.” On the first Sunday of Advent, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the historic Forest House will be transformed into a cozy gathering place for young and old alike.
Visitors can look forward to a varied program and sweet and savory delicacies.
In addition to guided tours of the Old Forest House and a reading by Freinberg’s local poet Hilde Neulinger, the “Hoabocha Teifen” Perchten parade at 4:30 p.m. will provide excitement and a taste of tradition. The Freinberg Brass Band will provide atmospheric musical accompaniment for the Christmas market.
A selection of arts and crafts from regional businesses also adds to the Christmas atmosphere. From lovingly designed Christmas decorations to handmade woodwork and textiles, all the way to Christmas cards—visitors will find original gift ideas for the Advent season here.
