Hausruck Philharmonie
The Hausruck Philharmonie was founded in 1983 by the then music school director and later state music school director, flutist Helmut Trawöger. His goal was to revive the old tradition of string orchestras in a region predominantly characterized by brass music. Since then, the ensemble has become known far beyond district borders through demanding interpretations from Baroque to Modern in over 150 concerts at home and abroad at festivals. Renowned (inter)national soloists greatly appreciate the orchestra and are always happy to perform with them.
Eva Kögler
Eva Kögler, born in 2001, began her cello lessons at the LMS Thalheim at the age of five with Judith Bik. She was accepted into the Junior Academy of Upper Austria and transferred to Andreas Pözlberger in 2014. From 2015, she began the preparatory course at the Anton Bruckner Private University, where she will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in 2024. She attended masterclasses with Georg Baich, Laslo Mezö, Rudolf Leopold, and Hannah Roberts. She gained solo experience with orchestra in 2017 during the performance of the cello double concerto by Walter Kögler, played Haydn's D major concerto with the Attnang-Puchheim Chamber Orchestra in 2021, and Dvorak's cello concerto with the Wels Symphony Orchestra in 2023. Eva is a multiple prize winner at the provincial competition Prima la Musica, won the promotion award of the Lions Club Nibelungen in 2021, and the “Prix talentis” of the Kiwanis Club Wels in 2023.
