Hausruck Philharmonic
The Hausruck Philharmonic was founded in 1983 by the then music school director and later state music school director, flutist Helmut Trawöger. His goal was to revive the old tradition of string orchestras in a region predominantly influenced by brass music. Since then, the ensemble has become well known far beyond the district borders through over 150 concerts in Austria and neighboring countries at festivals, with demanding interpretations from Baroque to modern. Renowned (inter)national soloists highly regard the orchestra and are always pleased to be guests.

Eva Kögler
Eva Kögler, born in 2001, began her cello lessons at the age of five at the LMS Thalheim with Judith Bik. She was admitted to the Junior Academy OÖ and switched to Andreas Pözlberger in 2014. Starting in 2015, she began the preparatory course at the Anton Bruckner Private University, where she will complete her Bachelor of Arts with distinction in 2024. She attended masterclasses with Georg Baich, Laslo Mezö, Rudolf Leopold, and Hannah Roberts. She gained solo experience with the orchestra in 2017 performing the Cello Double Concerto by Walter Kögler, played the Haydn D major concerto with the Chamber Orchestra Attnang-Puchheim in 2021, and Dvorak's cello concerto with the Symphony Orchestra Wels in 2023. Eva is a multiple prize winner at the state competition Prima la Musica, won the 2021 promotion award from the Lions Club Nibelungen, and the "Prix talentis" from the Kiwanis Club Wels in 2023.
