This walking tour is dedicated to the great composer Anton Bruckner, who composed his Eighth and Ninth Symphonies in his beloved city of Steyr. Follow in the footsteps of this artist and man who, despite difficult times, tirelessly strove for perfection and love. A special highlight is the organ in Steyr’s Stadtpfarrkirche, built by Franz Xaver Chrisman, an outstanding organ builder whose masterpiece still brings Bruckner’s musical world to life today.
