How does one survive bulk waste dates with the wife, a spontaneous surprise visit from the youth welfare office, and a neighbor who nails better than oneself? In “Heartbeat,” Stefan Leonhardsberger narrates the daily challenges of being a partner, handyman, and head of the family. Between meniscus surgeries, barbecues with professional know-it-alls, and secret hash cookies, he wonders: Am I still cool at 40 or already like my own father? The result is an evening full of gags, songs, and intimate confessions – funny, cheeky, and right from the heart.

About Stefan Leonhardsberger
Stefan Leonhardsberger has been at home on the cabaret and comedy stages between Vienna, Munich, and Stuttgart for many years. After musical successes like “Da Billi Jean is ned mei Bua” and the cabaret thriller “Rauhnacht,” he delighted more than 25,000 audience members with his first comedy solo “Yes” about his life as a family man. With his new solo program “Heartbeat,” he goes even further: While crises shape the headlines outside and artificial intelligence changes everything, he asks himself: Do I really have something to say – or would it be better to just keep my mouth shut? And at that moment, something else speaks up: his heart. And it has a lot to say when he truly listens. Heartwarmingly honest, Leonhardsberger reports on the secret wishes, contradictory longings, and embarrassing weaknesses that, oh!, reside in his chest. But his aim is not to shock or provoke. His goal is to perhaps find a piece of healing in shared laughter. And when words are no longer enough, songs will be sung – as if it were a matter of life and death.
