Green Makes regulars' table "Upcycling clothes"

The next Green Makes regulars' table will take place exceptionally at the beginning of the month on February 4 - usually every two months on the last Wednesday - and this time the focus will be on simple upcycling methods for garments.
Fast fashion, textile waste and resource consumption are more preoccupying us than ever in our everyday lives, but there is good news: We can save, repair or completely reinterpret our favorite pieces with just a few simple steps - and thus actively contribute to a more sustainable textile economy.
On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 18:00 at the Mondseeland Technology Center, Martina Gadermeier will provide input and show you how uncomplicated upcycling can be - without any sewing machine or special skills. After a brief introduction to topics such as the textile industry, fast fashion, fair fashion and second-hand, we will try out simple tricks together that everyone can use immediately.

Green Makes is an open community for all people in Mondseeland who want to help shape a climate-neutral future, whether privately or professionally. The goal is to support each other with sustainability tips, regional shopping recommendations and do-it-yourself instructions.
