The traditional costume and shooting club D'Adlerstoana was founded in 1926 and is an integral part of Unterach's cultural life. With around 1,500 inhabitants at the transition from Mondsee to Attersee, we cultivate the traditions of the Salzkammergut and connect young and old through dance, music and customs. Our folk dance group with the children's dance group and the Plattler, the Kaiserschützen and the brass band "D'Adlerstoana-Tanzlmusi" are active at folklore evenings, traditional costume Sundays, maypole setting, weddings and many other events.
Over the decades, dedicated chairmen such as Hans Burda, Karl Novotny, Josef Wesenauer, Michael and Thomas Lohninger as well as Sigrid Aichhorn and currently Hubert Wachter have shaped the association. Today, the members meet 70 to 80 times a year to celebrate secular and religious traditions, enjoy fellowship and keep the customs of the Salzkammergut alive.
On September 19 and 20, the Trachten- und Schützenverein d'Adlerstoana celebrates its 100th anniversary.Kohlstatt 84, 4866 Unterach am Attersee
