Pruning fruit trees is one of the greatest challenges for horticultural amateurs.
The botanical garden's horticulturist Michael Büchner will provide an insight into the different types of pruning and explain, using the municipal orchard on the Freinberg as an example, what to bear in mind when pruning in winter, which should ideally be done on frost-free days in February.
