What began over 20 years ago as a breakfast idea among three music and one medical student has developed into a musical force in the Austrian music scene under the name “folksmilch.” After seven CDs, numerous exciting projects, and over 1000 live concerts, it is now time to celebrate this anniversary properly and present a “Best Of folksmilch” program.
From its origins as a Styrian folk music group, through tango, world music, jazz, and pop hits, to musical cabaret covers of classics and Austropop hits, folksmilch will pull out all the stops from the last 20 years. The trio will perform that evening again in the original lineup with clarinet and will be supported by the exceptional clarinetist Milos Milojevic.
