What began over 20 years ago as a breakfast idea by three music students and one medical student has developed into a musical entity in the Austrian music scene under the name “folksmilch.” After seven CDs, numerous exciting projects, and over 1000 live concerts, it is now time to celebrate this anniversary properly and present a “Best Of folksmilch” program.
From its origins as a Styrian folk music group, through tango, world music, jazz, and pop music, to the musical cabaret cover versions of hits from classical and Austropop, folksmilch will pull out all the stops from the last 20 years. The trio will play again on this evening in the original lineup with clarinet and will be joined by exceptional clarinetist Milos Milojevic.
