Fair Tales takes up well-known fairytale settings in which Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Snow White, her stepmother, Cinderella, the stepsisters and the prince meet. The characters explore the stories that have been written about them and encounter recurring structural challenges. Gradually, they leave behind their seemingly passive character traits and open up alternative storylines for themselves and the audience in a curious and self-determined way.

The piece combines theater with circus disciplines such as aerial artistry, clowning, handstand and dance acrobatics. There are scenes and moments of great comedy, beauty, sadness and even a bit of romance. Equality, non-conformity, diversity, solidarity and collaboration are central themes.
