Summer In The City — Summer Hits from Baroque to Present
In its new special program "Summer In The City," the Feuerbach Quartet creates a vacation atmosphere. Tailored to summer festivals and open-air concerts, the Feuerbach Quartet refreshingly and cheekily dedicates itself to the summer hits of recent decades — even centuries. Thus, "I’m Walking On Sunshine" encounters the Baroque fireworks music of G. F. Handel, George Harrison's "Here Comes The Sun" is translated by Rammstein with "Hier kommt die Sonne" — and Antonio Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" has a summery rendezvous with Joe Cocker and the Lovin’ Spoonfuls.

Feuerbach Quartet
Founded in 2013, the Feuerbach Quartet is today almost synonymous with innovative adaptations of sophisticated modern rock and pop music for the classical string quartet.

What started as an idea is now a small sensation on concert stages throughout Europe, with over 100 engagements a year. There are no barriers in the classical concert hall nor at the pop open-air, not at the industry gala and not in the small socio-cultural center...

The Feuerbach Quartet succeeds like no other ensemble in directly transmitting its passion and joy for music to the audience.

“With cheeky pizzicatos, as refined as they are clever arrangements, and an incredible joy in playing, the quartet manages to give the songs its very own and unmistakable sound" — Crescendo
