Together.THE culinary month in the Salzkammergut starts with a special kick-off: the kick-off event "Salz in der Suppe", which will take place this year at Restaurant EQ in St. Wolfgang. In an atmospheric setting, regional producers will present their high-quality food and offer insights into their craft - from fine dishes to freshly made products that can be tasted on site.
A central highlight of the evening: the Bad Ischl tourism school cooks live with the producers' ingredients and uses them to create creative dishes that impressively demonstrate the culinary potential of the Salzkammergut. Authentic craftsmanship meets young skills and innovative culinary art.
All seven regions of the Salzkammergut are represented - each with a producer from the respective destination. This makes the diversity of the region tastefully visible and a direct experience for guests.
The kick-off event invites visitors to rediscover the culinary identity of the Salzkammergut, get to know the producers in person and start a year of enjoyable events together.
