Emotionally intense, yet definitely witty, with many songs from well-known films, Chris Pichler plays the phenomenal career of a willful comedienne who wanted to make something great of her life and broke between naive euphoria and stark despair, even though all she ever wanted was to be loved, unconditionally and forever.

This solo piece follows Marilyn Monroe on her life's journey and makes her multifacted and unpredictable character tangible. Single-minded and doubtful, desired and deeply lonely, celebrated and abused. We primarily know her radiant laughter, but do we hear her crying at night?
